Staring September 2026 | $270Take it to the mat
A six week in person theory and practice program for anxiety, depression, pain, sobriety or… to finally start feeling like the best version of yourself!
What to Expect
In-person classes focused on the theory and practice of breathing techniques and very easy yoga poses: participants learn evidence-based breathwork methods, practice them under guided supervision to build reliability in moments of distress, and receive real-time support. These sessions emphasize applying breathwork to everyday triggers, helping translate breath practice into daily life. Beyond skill acquisition, the group setting fosters connection with others on a similar journey—normalizing struggles and providing mutual encouragement—so attendees leave with both concrete tools and a renewed sense of community.
No yoga experience needed.

Day OneUnderstanding the Breath
As everyone arrives, we take time to settle in, get comfortable, and begin connecting with those around us. The journey starts here.
Introductions are followed by information in regards to the mechanics of breathing and the connection to the vagus nerve and our overall wellbeing.
Theory will be followed by demonstration and easy, non threatening practices.
Instructions on how to journal after the practice and simple homework assignments to help integrate the practice into your daily life.
The class will last approximately one hour and homework consists of mindful breathing throughout your normal day.
Day TwoConnecting the Breath to the Body
Review of the previous lesson and processing homework.
After learning a few basic yoga resting poses and practicing how to breathe in them, we will mildly challenge our breath to start learning how that feels and start recognizing it in our daily lives.
More breathing techniques will be taught to help manipulate how we feel.
A lot of focus will be placed in how to feel safe on a mat by learning skills to regulate emotions and sensations that may arise during practice going forward.
Entering a yoga studio can be very intimidating and there are many types of yoga offered: what to look for when starting a practice will be discussed.
Day Three through SixPutting it all Together
After reviewing previous lessons and homework we will learn some more yoga ‘jargon’ so entering a yoga studio for the first time will be less intimidating.
We will gradually learn a sun salute A and a sun salute B and modify it to each individual need so that you make the practice your own.
The lessons will be going at the pace of the individuals in the class. All focus will be placed in observing what happens to the breath when we move through the poses or hold a pose.
The final goal is to confidently attend a yoga class on your own or start your own practice building on what you learned in these classes.
The ultimate goal is to be able to access your breath anytime you need to.
